Philly psych-pop quartet Weekender self-released their debut EP, ‘Spanish Peaks,’ last spring, but it gets its proper debut on PaperCup Music today (Nov. 12). Diffuser.fm is stoked to offer a stream of the EP in full below.

Consisting of brothers Derek and Nic Sheehan, Tom Anthony and Emily Cahill, Weekender have crafted five buzzing and dreamy songs that make us think of the Dandy Warhols. It’s an album soaked in sunshine and reverb, and Derek serves up spacey, stretched-out vocals between the blissful, fuzzy guitar riffs.

‘Spanish Peaks’’s closing track, ‘Don’t Hide,’ fades out with one last proclamation from Sheehan: “You have a voice.” And the foursome certainly has a voice, and with it, they have created a perfect psych-pop daydream.
