Weezer's 'Back to the Shack' is a sweet, honest proclamation of a pure love of rock 'n' roll. The song features some pretty bad-ass guitar work that some might say the band's been missing at times. We're glad it's on full display here.

The lyrics go back and forth between cutely innocent to a bit heavy-handed. Some lines might have you nodding your head in earnest agreement, while a few others might remind you of your over-enthusiastic uncle who wants to convince you how cool he is. All in all, though, it's a pretty effin' good Weezer track.

'Back to the Shack' is the first single from Weezer's first album in four years. 'Everything Will Be Alright in the End' comes out Sept. 30, shortly after the band finishes touring this summer.
