As fans count down the release of Weezer's ninth full-length studio album, 'Everything Will Be Alright In the End' -- set for release this Tuesday, Oct. 7 -- the alt-rock wunderkinds stopped by KROQ's studios in West Los Angeles and performed an acoustic rendition of 'Go Away.' Check it out in the video above.

Accompanied by Bethany Cosentino (one-half of the L.A. rock duo Best Coast), Rivers Cuomo and company turned the fuzz-soaked studio track into a stripped-down, beautiful anthem. 'Go Away' is the eight tune on the new record and is co-written by Cuomo and Cosentino.
