‘Weird Al’ Yankovic Takes Ice Bucket Challenge to Strike Out ALS

Subscribe to on

It isn’t the first and it likely won’t be the last, but “Weird Al” Yankovic‘s recent ice bucket challenge video might just be the best one yet. In an effort to raise awareness and money to battle Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS), Yankovic accepted the ice bucket challenge — from an unknown challenger — while sitting next to his wife in a romantic, scenic setting.

While the pouring of the ice water is about what you’d presume, the video exceeds all expectations as Yankovic looks at the camera and issues his epic challenges: President Barack Obama, the Dalai Lama and the Pope. While this isn’t the first time the President has been challenged, hopefully Yankovic’s conviction will persuade him to finally accept the dare.

The ice bucket challenge is part of the Strike Out ALS movement in support of the ALS Association. Get more details on how you can help here.
