Whole Damn Mess has released a video for the second single from their debut album The Queen and the Outcast, which is due Jan. 12, 2018. You can watch "And Then We Were" above.

The new video, which bills itself as a film with music by Whole Damn Mess, was written, directed and produced by screenwriter and filmmaker Bill Fishman. Fishman has been creating music videos since the '80s, and also directed the cult film Tapeheads, which showcased John Cusack and Tim Robbins. It stars Ella Edwards (The Closet, All At Once, Noir) and Giovanni Cirfiera (The Family, Mary Magdaline).

Titled "Redemption," the new film begins with a car traveling down the road but quickly skips ahead to "Episode 2: And Then We Were." It follows an unsolved mystery involving a priest who succumbs to dark indulgences, and leaves us with a tantalizing "to be continued..."

The band features singer-songwriter and guitarist Don Miggs, formerly of the eponymous band Miggs, which put out five records between 2002-2012 and toured with high-profile acts like Maroon 5, Plain White T's, Scott Weiland and Velvet Revolver.

The new album was co-written and produced by Mighty Mighty Bosstones guitarist Lawrence Katz and songwriter-producer C. Todd Nielsen. It contains Miggs' most confessional material to date, and derives inspiration from the rich girl-bad boy archetype based on his relationship with his wife Lisa DeBartolo, the daughter of San Francisco 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo. The "And Then We Were" video even features a character wearing a "Lisa" nameplate.
