It’s been a couple of months since Wilco bequeathed the unannounced and free-of-charge Star Wars. Now, the band will issue album track, “Random Name Generator,” as a 7” single.

“Random Name Generator” will be backed with a live acoustic performance of Wilco's “Bull Black Nova” recorded at the band’s Solid Sound Festival in North Adams, Mass., back in June. The 7” will be pressed on marbled green vinyl, and it’s due out Oct. 2 on Wilco’s own dBpm Records. The single artwork (see below) is almost as kitschy as Star Wars’ cover, depicting the ‘50s-era toy, Kampanile Tower of Musical Bells, which a press release reveals is a prized possession at Wilco’s Chicago studio.

In the spirit of the “Random Name Generator” 7”, Wilco have created a BuzzFeed quiz to determine which member of the band you are. We got Nels Cline, but really, you can’t lose.

Star Wars is now available on CD, and if for some reason you weren’t one of the more than 500,000 people to download the new album for free, you can now pay to do so at iTunes. A vinyl edition will arrive on Oct. 13 in the U.S., and it’s slated for an international release on Oct. 30.

Wilco’s current tour continues tomorrow (Oct. 16) in Kalamazoo, Mich. See a complete list of their upcoming stops below.
