Wild Nothing mastermind Jack Tatum has announced the band will return with their third full-length, Life of Pause, in February, but before then, he’s shared two of the album’s tracks.

“To Know You” and “TV Queen” have been compiled in a nine-minute video. The clip opens with the upcoming album’s cover art (see below), but it's been set into motion -- slow motion but animated nevertheless. Check it out above.

Tatum and company split the recording of Life of Pause between studios in L.A. and Stockholm. The forthcoming LP features contributions from Peter, Bjorn and John’s John Ericsson and Medicine’s Brad Laner. Thom Monahan (Chris Robinson, Devendra Banhart) produced.

“I desperately wanted for this to be the kind of record that would displace me,” Tatum said in a press release. “I’m terrified by the idea of being any one thing, or being of any one genre. And whether or not I accomplish that, I know that my only hope of getting there is to constantly reinvent. That reinvention doesn’t need to be drastic, but every new record has to have it’s [sic] own identity, and it has to have a separate set of goals from what came before.”

Life of Pause is slated for a Feb. 19 release via Captured Tracks. Take a look at the complete 11-song track list at the bottom of the page. The album follows Tatum’s 2010 debut, Gemini, and 2012’s Nocturne.
