Celebrity doppelgangers Will Ferrell and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith teamed up again last night for the Red Hot Benefit Comedy + Music Show & Quinceañera at the Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium.

The highlight of the evening was a sequel to the Tonight Show drum-off between the faux rivals, but this time they chose teams playground-style with Smith drafting Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters, Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee and Stewart Copeland of the Police. Meanwhile, Ferrell selected fellow SNL alumnus Fred Armisen, Fleetwood Mac's Mick Fleetwood and teen sensation Andy Lee.

The two teams played through seven Red Hot Chili Peppers songs including “Otherside,” “By the Way” and an encore of their “Higher Ground” cover. Check out video of the drummer intros (starting around the 13-minute mark) below via Funny or Die.
