Iowa-born folk singer-songwriter William Elliott Whitmore's new album, Radium Death, is out today (March 31) via Anti- Records, and in celebration, he's released an official music video for its lead single, "Healing to Do." You can watch it above.

In the video, Whitmore jams with his backing band in the comfort of his late grandmother's living room; it's easy to get a sense of how the song's soulful blues vibe affects the band to the core. It's a very down-to-earth look at the rawness and realness of Whitmore's fine-tuned music -- he's been at it for 15 years, after all.

Speaking on the new album, Whitmore explained in a statement, “I purposefully went into it wanting to make a little bit of a departure, sonically, using an electric guitar a little bit more and adding more instrumentation, more full-band type stuff.” He will soon head out on a U.S. tour  in support of Radium Death.
