"I wanna be naked with you."

Those were the lyrics that fans screamed during X Ambassadors' Central Park SummerStage show in New York City last night (July 22). But those weren't the only words the alternative rock lovers in attendance were spewing.

From "Naked" to the band's soulful ballad, "Unsteady," hundreds piled into Rumsey Playfield for a taste of X Ambassadors' debut album, VHS, which they released last month. And frontman Sam Harris, his brother Casey Harris, Noah Feldshuh and Adam Levin jumped right into the hits, and it was difficult to go wrong considering every track on the album is a smash.

The upstate New York-bred quartet slowly kicked things off as they welcomed the crowd with "Hang On." But with a short, 45-minute set, it wasn't long before the stage was lit with green and yellow fluorescent lights and an excited Sam Harris telling Central Park, "From my head to my toes... I wanna be naked with you." Those few words seemed to get quite a few people riled up, but who wouldn't be thrilled to take their clothes off in a national park with plenty of beer and wine flowing? And with the X Ambassadors' high energy, the revelry didn't stop there.

Noah Feldshuh slowly strummed the chords for "Gorgeous," and every woman in attendance seemingly fell into a frenzy. The moment Harris hit his electric guitar to bring the song to life, every musically intoxicated fan was singing right along with the band.

By the end of the night, the four-man crew performed virtually every VHS track. Unsurprisingly, they wrapped the show with "Jungle" (watch above), which has become one of X Ambassadors' hottest tracks ever since Jay Z hopped on the remix. To end the show, good ol' Harris dropped the mic and the band exited the stage with no encore, but that didn't keep fans from attempting to beg for more -- like a bunch of "Renegades"!
