Attention, Yeah Yeah Yeahs worshipers waiting patiently for the new single from your favorite band: Your wait is almost over. Singer Karen O and the boys have announced plans to premiere their new single, 'Sacrilege,' next Monday (Feb. 25), finally pushing the promotional machine behind their forthcoming 'Mosquito' album into high gear.

The arrival of 'Sacrilege' will mark the first taste of the new album, besides a pair of promotional clips that teased segments of audio from the album. We posted one of those trailers with music from a 'Mosquito' song titled 'Always' here.

'Mosquito' isn't due out until April, but for those of you headed to Austin next month for SXSW, YYY are playing an NPR showcase that's likely to feature plenty of new music from the band. And for those of you not headed to the Lone Star State, the show will be webcast here.

Also worth noting is the 'Sacrilege' artwork, posted above and to the left. We're not sure who is behind the cover, but it's likely to turn fewer heads (in a good way) than the 'Mosquito' cover art, which is nothing short of controversial, due to its patent ugliness.
