Few babies are born with as much intrinsic indie cred as this one. Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O (otherwise known as Karen Orzolek) and her husband, director Barnaby Clay, welcomed their first child (a boy) into the world over the weekend.

The singer posted an adorable photo on Instagram on Sunday along with a similarly adorable caption:

Karen O was one of the founding members of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in 2000 and the band quickly ascended the New York City scene on their way to becoming one of the most acclaimed rock outfits of the past decade. She married Clay in 2011 and, two years later, she was nominated for an Oscar for "The Moon Song" from Spike Jonze's Her.
