Karen O has gone bleach blonde -- and that's only the third most exciting Yeah Yeah Yeahs tidbit we have for you today. In second place, we can now announce that the New York post-punkers will be heading to Austin in March to play this year's South By Southwest festival, joining the bill of NPR Music's SXSW Showcase alongside Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. The concert is set for March 13 at the venerable Stubb's BBQ, and for those of you not also spending spring break in the Lone Star State, the show will be broadcast on NPR nationwide and streamed as a live video webcast here.

And for today's top YYY news nugget? The band has unveiled a video trailer for their forthcoming fourth album, 'Mosquito,' which drops April 16. Running just under a minute long, the clip features washed-out footage of Miss O and her fierce new locks (or is that just a wig?!) alongside guitarist Nick Zinner (with closeups of his vintage Fender Jaguar) and drummer Brian Chase keeping busy behind the kit (although to be honest, it sounds like a drum machine beat). The accompanying music is a snippet of the 'Mosquito' tune 'Always.' Check it out above!
