Growing up in New Jersey with a theater and television background, she appeared in a Nickelodeon magazine commercial and sang in a teen pop group called RubyBlue. Think you know who it is?
After taking a break from the entertainment world to go to college, she moved to Brooklyn, where she met a former guitarist from the hardcore band Poison the Well.
