Can You Guess the Artist in This Yearbook Photo?
We’re not quite sure what exactly is going on in the yearbook photo on the left — is that a coat hanger bent around his head? — but considering the eccentric personality of the musician pictured, we’re not exactly surprised he was up to such hijinks as a student. Can you tell who it is from the picture, or do you need some hints?
While attending the University of Vermont in the early ’80s, he formed the band that would later make him a world renowned rock star. That group, which now has a flavor of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream named after it, grew considerably in popularity following the 1995 death of Jerry Garcia and subsequent breakup of the Grateful Dead.
