Can You Guess the Artist in This Yearbook Photo?

Do you know who the young girl is in the above yearbook photo? She was born in Mississippi but moved to Tennessee when she was in her teens. That's when she formed the band she now leads.

But the band looks a  lot different now than it did in 2005, when it released its debut album. Most of the of the other original members left the group, and she's carried on with a new batch of musicians.

Her band hasn't released an album since 2009, but its fourth album is due during the first quarter of 2013. But she's kept busy, recording a solo song for a soundtrack album and a duet with a rapper that was a huge, huge hit a couple of years ago.
