Some are abstaining from the internet ahead of Star Wars: The Force Awakens' premiere tonight (Dec. 17) as a survival tactic in avoiding spoilers. There’s one spoiler, however, we’re glad wormed itself into our collective pop culture consciousness prior to the movie’s release, and that’s the fact Radiohead producer and Atoms for Peace’s Nigel Godrich makes a cameo.

As Stereogum reports, Four Tet shot Godrich a tweet praising his appearance in the film. Sure enough, IMDB has Godrich listed in the credits as portraying FN-9330 -- aka a Stormtrooper. So, we may not actually be able to see Godrich’s face on the silver screen tonight, but we can all no doubt trust Four Tet makes for a capable film critic.

Director Edgar Wright revealed he helped Godrich land his part in the Star Wars reboot. Stereogum also points out Godrich has worked with The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams in the past, contributing music to Lost, 2009’s Star Trek and 2013’s Star Trek Into Darkness.

Godrich is currently working with Radiohead on their follow-up to 2011’s The King of Limbs.
