Yuck Prepare for Takeoff In ‘Somewhere’ Video

Air travel can be dull and disorienting but also kind of peaceful, and that’s the feeling Yuck go for in their new video for ‘Somewhere.’ Shot by band buddy Jacob Perlmutter, the black-and-white clip is 5:44 of airport terminals and planes rolling slowly down runways. It’s enough to make even the non-jet-lagged nod out in their chairs.

‘Somewhere’ appears on ‘Glow & Behold,’ Yuck’s recently released second album and first without singer Daniel Blumberg, who left the group to concentrate on his Hebronix project. Blumberg’s exit might explain why these ’90s-indebted indie rockers have arrivals and departures on the brain, but tunes like this prove they’re still flying plenty high even without their former pilot.
