Zooey Deschanel Reportedly Dating Screenwriter Jamie Linden

Is Zooey Deschanel finally ready to move on? More than half a year after the indie It Girl and Death Cab for Cutie singer Ben Gibbard called it quits, Deschanel was spotted holding hands with a new flame at Sunday's Hollywood after party for the movie 'Magic Mike.' So, who's the lucky new guy? Jamie Linden, a screenwriter behind the scripts for such flicks as '10 Years,' 'Dear John' and 'We Are Marshall.'

Deschanel's rep would not comment, but another source confirms the budding relationship between the writer and the She and Him singer to US Weekly. "Jamie's a really nice guy," says the mystery source. "He's funny, and a little geeky ... he's into her!"

Deschanel and Gibbard announced in November a "mutual and amicable" separation after two years of marriage. The following month, Deschanel filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

Since then, she's been in no rush to begin a new romance. In March, she denied rumors that she was dating actor Russell Brand, commenting, “That’s complete fabrication! I don’t even know him!"

She was also quoted in Marie Claire talking about her lack of a love life. "Honestly, I'm just going through a divorce, so I don't really think [dating] is something I want to get into now," she told the magazine. "I don't have time to date. I literally don't have time."
