Adam Duritz – Secret Guests In Rock Songs

If the voice contributing backing vocals to '6th Avenue Heartache,' the first single from Wallflowers' 1996 album 'Bringing Down the Horse,' sounds familiar, there's a good reason: It belongs to none other than Adam Duritz from Counting Crows. Duritz wasn't the only guest to appear on '6th Avenue Heartache,' as Mike Campbell from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers played the slide guitar on the song. Campbell, however, recorded the track in his own studio and never met the band members.
