It’s been a while since we last heard anything from Arctic Monkeys leader Alex Turner’s other band, the Last Shadow Puppets, but it appears that will soon change -- as soon as spring 2016.

The English indie-rock outfit comprised of Turner and ex-Rascals frontman Miles Kane shared a teaser trailer on their Facebook page today (Dec. 3), which seems to promise new music in 2016. The clip opens with a scary movie-esque soundtrack and choppy footage of the bandmates in the studio. Around the 0:50 mark, you can hear Turner ask, “What needs doing?” Then the screen goes dark and simply reads, “Spring 2016.” See for yourself in the video at the top of the page.

The Last Shadow Puppets released their debut album, The Age of the Understatement, in 2008. In October, the duo’s collaborator, Owen Pallett, revealed he was working on the band’s sophomore follow-up in a tweet he later deleted. “That rare and thrilling moment when the record you’re working on crosses the threshold into Classic Status #tlsp2,” he wrote (via Stereogum).

Turner’s main gig, Arctic Monkeys, dropped their fifth full-length, AM, back in 2013.
