Avett Brothers Make Triumphant Mountain Jam Return – Exclusive Photos

By the time the Avett Brothers took the stage on Friday evening (June 7), the ground leading up to and around the main stage at Mountain Jam resembled molten chocolate. It was, in fact, all mud ... but that didn’t seem to phase the band. “We’re so happy to be back at Mountain Jam,” said guitarist Seth Avett, remarking on the group's third trip to the festival. Judging by their enthusiastic reactions to choice cuts like ‘Go to Sleep,’ from 2007’s ‘Emotionalism,' fans were equally psyched to have the Avetts back at Hunter Mountain.
