Belle and Sebastian will make their triumphant return with ‘Girls In Peacetime Want to Dance’ on Jan. 20. It’s been five years since their last album, 2010’s ‘Belle and Sebastian Write About Love,’ during which time frontman Stuart Murdoch made his directorial debut with ‘God Help the Girl.’ (And for a little more contest, it’s been another 20 years since Belle and Sebastian's iconic twee-pop debut, ‘Tigermilk.’)

Before their ninth album arrives in the U.S. on Matador Records, we can enjoy the third track to emerge from ‘Girls In Peacetime.’ The Glaswegian outfit premiered ‘The Cat With the Cream’ via the Line Best Fit today (Jan. 7). Take a listen to the lovely, string-filled song below:

‘The Cat With the Cream’ follows previous ‘Girls in Peacetime’ singles, ‘The Party Line’ and ‘Nobody’s Empire.’
