Held each summer (or winter, if you live in the Northern Hemisphere) in five cities -- Sydney, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth -- the Big Day Out is one of Australia's biggest and best-known rock festivals. Over the years, it has attracted a wide variety of top talent, from Nirvana and the Violent Femmes to Muse and the reunited Soundgarden, who headlined in 2012. The 2013 fest, which runs Jan. 18 to 28, is no different, with headliners including the Killers and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
