Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Unveil Second Short Film to Promote New Album
Back in November, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club announced plans to release their seventh full-length, the follow-up to their 2010 album 'Beat the Devil's Tattoo,' sometime in March 2013, and just last month, the band posted the first segment of a six-part short film promoting the as-yet-untitled disc. That clip, which you can watch here, features black-and-white footage of the band accompanied by some deep philosophical musing voiced by a Sam Elliott soundalike.
Part two, which is streaming above, includes a clip of bassist-singer Robert Levon Been talking about the passing of his father and the difficulty he had returning to rock 'n' roll in its aftermath. It's pretty heart-wrenching stuff, but we're obviously glad to have him back -- and glad to see B.R.M.C. will soon be returning to the road.
