!!! (Chk Chk Chk) Go Sci-Fi in the Hilarious Video for ‘Ooo’

The funky punk jokesters in !!! (Chk Chk Chk) just dropped the video for "Ooo" from the band's entirely pleasant album As If – and it's a doozy.

Directed by Casper Kelly – the guy behind Adult Swim's "Too Many Cooks" video – the clip takes the band on parodies of familiar Star Wars and Star Trek themes as a ladies' man starship captain gets himself into some sticky romantic situations. It has the same hokey effects and Afterschool Special feel as Kelly's other work and it's a whole lot of fun watching our main character's ups and downs and ins and outs (with various life forms in his space bed). It just goes to show that even in deep space, matters of the heart can be confusing.
