It's been a little more than two years since singer-songwriter Christopher Owens left his burgeoning indie band Girls, and we're starting to get used to seeing him on his own.

Before a show in London last night, Owens played a stripped-down solo set of three new songs and sat down for an interview with SubTV, according to the Line of Best Fit.

Each of the songs -- 'Brian Deneke,' 'I Just Can't Live Without You' and the already released 'Nothing More Than Everything to Me' -- come from Owens' upcoming second full-length, 'A New Testament,' which drops Sept. 29.
