Com Truise Previews ‘Wave 1′ EP With ‘Declination’ Single

Like all great New Jersey musicians -- Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, etc. -- Seth Haley longs to leave the Garden State and explore more glamorous environs. Unlike the Boss or Old Blue Eyes, though, this electronic producer isn't content to simply cross the Hudson and see New York City. He wants to sail through the cosmos, and thanks to his alter ego, Com Truise, "the world’s first synthetic/robotic astronaut," he's able to do just that.

Haley released the first Com Truise album, 'Galactic Melt,' back in 2011, and now he's prepping 'Wave 1,' a conceptual EP chronicling his character's continued adventures. 'Wave 1' arrives Feb. 18 via Ghostly International, and Haley has offered a preview in the form of 'Declination,' a slick synth-pop single his label calls "the calls most straightforwardly melodic tune" in his catalog.
