Darlingside on the Time a Ferry Almost Derailed Their Tour [VIDEO]
There's a lot of care that goes into putting together a Darlingside set list. The band, who play mostly down-tempo, emotionally rich bluegrass and folk, told us during an interview at Mountain Jam that because they've only released one album (2015's Birds Say), they focus on putting together sets with a "full contour." That means the barnstormers festival audiences love end up off setting some of the softer standout tracks from the record.
One thing that would derail a set pretty quick? Forgetting to bring one of your instruments -- like the time cellist Harris Paseltiner left his cello on a ferry. That story, and the rest of our conversation with Darlingside, in the video above.
