DATALOG Streams ‘HAARP’ EP [Listen]

Brooklyn electronic artist DATALOG -- born Conor Heffernan -- has followed up a pair of 2012 singles with his 'HAARP' EP. (Stream it below.) The seven-song set fuses techno, avant-garde and jazz, resulting in an unpredictable and unique blend of dance music.

DATALOG likes to pair analog instrumentation with esoteric samples, and because of it, his brand of EDM isn't what you'd expect when you think of the genre.

It's indie, artsy, adventurous fare that hangs out so far in left field that it wanders dangerously close to the warning track. But don't take our word for it. The EP, named after Japanese paper crafting, is streaming in full below.
