With their latest album, Kintsugi, dropping nearly a month ago, Death Cab for Cutie have been steadily baiting listeners with its inherent charm. Now, the band has teamed up with revolutionary music recognition app Shazam for acoustic renditions of two new tracks. You can watch the clips below.

The videos feature Kintsugi singles "Black Sun" and "Passenger Seat," showing frontman Ben Gibbard passionately vocalizing the lyrics in the most serene way possible. He's accompanied by only some light piano, played by Chris Walla's recent replacement, Zac Rae. With no other raging guitar riffs or electronics to get in the way of the bare-bones song compositions, it becomes more apparent how well-written these songs (and the album) truly are.

The new disc is currently available via Atlantic Records. Death Cab for Cutie are currently on tour in support of the record; you can stay up-to-date with their current tour itinerary via their official website.
