F— Buttons, ‘The Red Wing’ [Listen]

F--- Buttons have shared the track 'The Red Wing' from their upcoming third album, 'Slow Focus,' out July 23. They make a thrilling instrumental and electronic racket, with swirling buzzsaw synths and tightly compressed beats.

It sounds like it was constructed on a Mac Book Pro, making effective use of a full complement of digital tools, software or whatever else was at the enterprising duo's disposal.

But one thing is for sure. This isn't the poppy or sanitized EDM that's all over the radio and blaring at deafening levels at teen stores in malls. This is the delightfully dark, loud and seedy side of the genre, one best reserved for the late nights and the clubs.
