Green Day have partnered with Nokia and AT&T to launch Nokia Music, a new online music streaming service that offers free and unlimited access to playlists and songs from a global catalog of more than 17 million tracks. Green Day will soon be announcing a special kick-off concert to help mark the launch.

The music streaming service is exclusively available to people who have Nokia Lumia handsets; they can download the Nokia Music app for free from Marketplace. Green Day are curating three playlists that will be among the more than 150 playlists available through the service, which are created and kept up to date via a team of expert musicologists and other guest curators. And users can, of course, create their own playlists.

Green Day also apparently plan on giving Nokia Music users the first chance to listen to '¡Uno!,' the first installment from the band's forthcoming trilogy of albums. "We are excited to team up with Nokia Music and AT&T and for our fans to hear '¡Uno!' for the first time on our Facebook page," say the members of Green Day in a press release, without divulging any more details.

In the meantime, keep up with details of the Green Day launch concert via the Nokia Music/AT&T tab on that same Green Day Facebook page, which you can find here. The tab currently seems to be hosting a contest to find the band's "Numero Uno Fan," with prizes and exclusive content up for grabs.
