It doesn't look like Guns N' Roses fans will be getting the reunion they've been waiting for when the band is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next Saturday (April 14). But they can take some small consolation in the knowledge that one of the biggest bands of the last 20 years will be welcoming Guns into the Hall.

GNR's induction speech will be delivered by Green Day, who join an all-star list of presenters that includes Chris Rock (who will be inducting Red Hot Chili Peppers), ZZ Top (inducting Freddie King), John Mellencamp (inducting Donovan), and many more.

As for that much-rumored reunion set from the classic lineup of the band, it looks like it's pretty much an impossibility at this point, as the long-running feud between vocalist Axl Rose and former guitarist Slash continues to simmer. Earlier this week, Slash shrugged off chances of a Hall of Fame performance with his ex-partner, saying that Axl "hates my guts."

Still, this is rock 'n' roll -- you never know. And ex-Guns drummer Matt Sorum has made it clear that he and Slash will be in the building for the ceremony, even going so far as to tease the possibility that the former bandmates might team up to help Donovan deliver his induction set. From 'Hurdy Gurdy Man' to 'Welcome to the Jungle'? Stranger things have happened.
