Since 2009, Portland’s Guantanamo Baywatch have been spewing forth a consciously demented and grimy good-time version of twangy guitar rock that pays equal homage to the Cramps, the Trashmen and Gene Vincent. Their vinyl output thus far is made up of two LPs and two EPs, and all four discs are as sick and twisted as you can imagine.

Their next vinyl excursion, 'Surf 'N' Turf,' will be a split EP with Natural Child, a Nashville band with a wonderfully skewed take on choogling '70’s rock. Guantanamo Baywatch’s contribution to the record, ‘Love This Time,' conjures up images of beach parties fueled by cheap brew and sock hops thrown in abandoned malt shops. Or maybe that’s just us.

Nonetheless, check out the track below and be sure to pick up the split EP when it comes out Dec. 3rd on the Suicide Squeeze label. It’s going to be a doozy.
