As frontman of a certain so-called "geek rock" alt-rock band from Los Angeles that formed back in 1991, the singer and guitarist belonging to this lip fuzz has scored more than a dozen Top 20 hits on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart, notched three platinum albums and even managed to find the time to graduate from Harvard College between tours.

He doesn't rock the mustache look too often, but he did have one when pictured on the cover of the band's self-titled 2008 disc, known to fans as 'The Red Album.'
