It’s Franz Nicolay’s Mustache!

That's right, Franz Nicolay is the proud owner of this gorgeous, swirling tuft of face fuzz. Besides the mustache, Nicolay is most famous for his time spent playing in NYC's the Hold Steady; he was on board for three albums, starting with 2005's 'Separation Sunday,' but parted ways before they went into the studio to record 2010's 'Heaven Is Whenever,' and thus doesn't appear on the band's biggest disc to date. He also seems to have shaved the upper-lip warmer off; in a promo shot for this year's 'Do the Struggle' solo album, he appears sans mustache.
