Yep, this is a Morrissey-written and -sung line all right:

"Sleep on and dream of love, because it's the closest you will get to love."

That lyric comes from the song 'November Spawned a Monster,' a 1990 solo single by Morrissey that eventually ended up on the compilation album 'Bona Drag' released the same year. But that sure did sound like a Taylor Swift line, didn't it? Compare it to any one of her songs over the past couple of years that go into detail about her relationship troubles. You'd think at this point she'd just give up on the whole thing and just spend her sleeping hours dreaming of love. That way she can focus on more important things when she's awake -- like dressing up like a hipster and making fun of all of her exes. Or whatever it is you do when you're 22.
