Last year, as Jack White was winding down his extensive tour in support of his solo album, Lazaretto, the former White Stripe played a handful of intimate acoustic gigs entirely on his own in places like Wyoming, Idaho and Alaska. Now, as the latest installment of Third Man Records' subscription service, the Vault, the label's head honcho will release recordings from two of the shows for the first time.

Live In Idaho will be released as a double LP and features White’s performance at the Egyptian Theater in Boise and was recorded on ribbon microphones. Listen to White’s performance of “Sugar Never Tasted So Good”, taken from Live In Idaho, below.

The second release will be a DVD of Live In Anchorage, recorded at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium in Anchorage, Alaska. Third Man Records’ Brad Holland engineered and edited the film.

The Vault package also includes Pictures From Unknown States, a photo book from David James Swanson, and two Risograph prints of the shows taken by Swanson. You can subscribe to the Vault and purchase the package here.
