It was quite the weekend for Jason Isbell. Following a packed show in Brooklyn Friday night (July 24), Isbell hit the road for the Newport Folk Festival where he had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play Bob Dylan's legendary electric guitar -- yes, that electric guitar. And on top of it, he performed a stunning 12-song set at this year's edition of the fest, and you can now hear it in full, courtesy of NPR. Check it out below:

Isbell's performance was in support of his latest solo record, Something More Than Free. He joked around with his backing band during the set and paid tribute to Dylan's legendary axe, which is now owned by Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay, who purchased it back in 2013 for nearly $1 million.

He will continue his tour through Aug. 15 before taking a break until early October, when it will pick back up again for a plethora of dates scheduled through early February. You can stay current with his touring plans over at his official website.
