Yesterday (Feb. 26), we learned Morrissey had canceled his spot on ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' because the presence of the cast of the A&E reality show 'Duck Dynasty' conflicted with his vegetarian and animal-rights views. In response, Kimmel teamed with his guests to film a bit mocking the situation.

The sketch (watch the video above) is a fake commercial for 'Carrot Call,' a product that looks like a carrot but, when blown, pulls carrots out of the ground and into your mouth. In true "But wait, there's more" fashion, purchasing two entitles the buyer to 'Uncle Si's Tea Cup Brocolli Trap.'

'Duck Dynasty' is about the Robertsons, a backwoods Louisiana family that owns a very successful business making duck decoys. The show, which is apparently A&E's most-watched series, follows the Robertsons' adventures on the bayou.

“As far as my reputation is concerned, I can’t take the risk of being on a show alongside people who, in effect, amount to animal serial killers,” Morrissey said in a statement. “If Jimmy cannot dump ‘Duck Dynasty,’ then we must step away.”

In the introduction to the sketch, Kimmel said it was a no-brainer deciding not to cancel the 'Duck Dynasty's' slot to guarantee Morrissey's appearance. "They have guns and Morrissey doesn't," he quipped.
