Guitarist Johnny Marr will join Dinosaur Jr. during a one-off performance set for this December in New York City. Marr will be one of three special guests sitting in with Dinosaur Jr. at the gig, during which the band will celebrate the 25th anniversary of 'You're Living All Over Me.'

The Dec. 1 show at NYC's Terminal Five will include two sets, with Dinosaur performing the 1987 album in its entirety during the first, and the three special guests joining the band onstage during the second. The other two musicians sitting in alongside Marr will be announced in the near future.

Dinosaur Jr. announced Marr's involvement with an online post on their official website:

On December 1, Dinosaur Jr. will celebrate the 25th anniversary of “You’re Living All Over Me” at Terminal 5 in New York City. The band will play the album in its entirety followed by a second set spanning their catalogue with very special musical guests joining them onstage. We’re excited to announce the first of these special guests: Johnny Marr, known for his work in The Smiths, Modest Mouse & The Cribs. Marr will sit in with Dinosaur Jr. for a song or two, and we’re thrilled he’ll be celebrating with us. More special guests to be announced.

Marr is best known for his work with the Smiths and has also spent playing with Modest Mouse and the Cribs. The Smiths broke up in 1987, the same year that 'You're Living All Over Me' was released.
