Lollapalooza 2013

After spending much of the '90s as alternative rock's premiere traveling festival, Lollapalooza laid down roots in Chicago, which has hosted the gathering every summer since 2005. Although the 2013 lineup won't be announced until next year, Lolla 2012 featured such headliners as the Black Keys, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jack White.

Bonus: A South American-based Lollapalooza now takes place each spring in Brazil and Chile. Headliners for the 2013 edition, set for March 29-31 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and April 6-7 in Santiago, Chile, will include Pearl Jam, the Black Keys and the Killers.
