This morning (Dec. 11), the nominations for the 2015 Golden Globes were released, with Michael Keaton's 'Birdman' leading films with a total of seven nods, and 'Fargo' leading television with five.

We here at Diffuser love movies and TV, but we love music even more -- so why are we talking about the Golden Globes? There is one particular category that has gained our attention: Best Original Song From a Motion Picture.

While we tend to think Lorde's 'Yellow Flicker Beat' from 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 1' soundtrack will take home the award, we're excited for the entire list:

'Big Eyes' -- Lana Del Ray, 'Big Eyes'
'Glory' -- John Legend and Common, 'Selma'
'Mercy Is' -- Patti Smith and Lenny Kaye, 'Noah'
'Opportunity' -- Sia, 'Annie'
'Yellow Flicker Beat' -- Lorde, 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 1'

Which song do you think should take home the prize? Let us know in the comments section below!

The Golden Globes air live on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 at 8PM ET on NBC.
