The initial lineup for Mountain Jam 2014, the 10th installment of the increasingly eclectic Upstate New York music festival, has been announced, and headliners include Bob Weir & Rat Dog, Gov't Mule, Pretty Lights, the Avett Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Damian Marley, Wilco main man Jeff Tweedy and Michael Franti & Spearhead.

As if those aren't enough, organizers are promising an "additional major headliner" still to be announced, so stay tuned.

Scheduled for June 5-8 at the Hunter Mountain ski resort in Hunter, N.Y., Mountain Jam 2014 marks the long-awaited return of Bob Weir & Rat Dog, who last played the fest in 2008. The Grateful Dead founder hasn't toured much with Rat Dog in recent years, but with Further, his partnership with Phil Lesh, on hiatus, Weir will reunite with Jeff Chimenti, Steve Kimock, Jay Lane, Robin Sylvester, and Rob Wasserman and treat the vibe-drenched masses to a set of jammy goodness.

As Mountain Jam attendees welcome back Weir and company, they'll say their usual hellos to perennial bill-toppers Gov't Mule. Warren Haynes' and his intrepid crew of genre-blurring blues-rock virtuosos have headlined the shindig every year since it's inception, and if newbie Derek Vincent Smith, aka Pretty Lights, needs any advice regarding what food booths to hit up or where to head for the best views of the scenic mountainside, the acclaimed electronic musician might ask the singer and guitarist.

Mountain Jam X will also feature Umphrey's McGee (two sets on Thursday), Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Trampled By Turtles, Dark Star Orchestra (Thursday night), Blitzen Trapper, Beats Antique (late night), Jackie Greene (late night), Anders Osborne, Antibalas (late night), Lucius, Valerie June, the Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger (ft. Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl), Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, Moon Taxi, Reignwolf, Jonathan Wilson, The Weeks, Treetop Flyers, Sean Rowe, Connor Kennedy, Citizens Band Radio, the Dough Rollers and Paul Green Rock Academy.

Fans eager to gobble up tickets for the event are in luck: Early Bird passes go on-sale tomorrow (Jan. 16) at 10AM EST and offer 25 percent off day-of-show prices. Mountain Jammers also have their choice of three- and four-day passes, both with and without camping, and those wishing to kick it up a notch can opt for Jammer (VIP), Super Jammer and the brand-new Ultimate Jammer Passes.
