Rock stars are certainly used to having their picture taken -- it's a major part of the job -- but one photographer they will always try to avoid is the cop behind the camera at booking. Mug shots are part of the procedure every time someone gets arrested, so there's a mug shot out there for every arrest. Unfortunately for rock stars, they are part of public record.

Of course there's a story behind each mug shot, and each of the following rock star mug shots comes with a tale about the arrest.
