Neko Case will return later this year with her seventh solo studio outing, titled Hell-On, and support the new LP with a round of tour dates that will keep her on the road well into summer.

Hell-On marks Case's first solo effort since 2013's The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You, and first full-length studio effort since 2016's Case/lang/veirs, a trio project with fellow singer/songwriters k.d. lang and Laura Veirs. Due in stores June 1 and available to pre-order now, Hell-On is preceded by its title track, which you can stream via the below embed.

"I worked really hard and I was present for every second of this project. Producing a record is a huge task and there were times I was deep in the weeds, but that is normal for a record that takes a year plus. The weeds aren't so bad," explains Case via press release. "In the end it was all worth it and I am so proud of how it turned out, and I am so grateful to have worked with such dedicated, giving artists to make it happen."

Case plans to support Hell-On with a summer tour that's set to begin May 27 with an appearance at the Sasquatch Festival in Washington; the following day, she'll embark on a series of dates that stretches through July 10 and will send her across the United States. With the exception of Case's Sasquatch date, each show features support from Ray LaMontagne.

"The songs are who I believe myself to be and that will change," adds Case, "but for now that's how it is and I'm very satisfied with that."
