Purity Ring Announce Summer + Fall Tour Dates

Purity Ring wrapped up a North American tour just a few days ago in Oakland, Calif. Now, they have promptly added a whole new set of dates in support of their sophomore effort, Another Eternity.

The Canadian duo -- featuring Megan James and Corin Roddick -- will pick up their tour tomorrow (June 23) in Las Vegas. From there, they’ll make stops in Denver, Ottawa and Birmingham, Ala. before heading to Australia for a few concerts.

They’ll return stateside in August for the Somerset Music and Camping Festival in Wisconsin. They’re also slated to play this year’s FYF Fest in L.A., Midpoint Music Festival in Cincinnati and Pygmalion Music Festival in Champaign, Ill. They’ll then conclude the North American portion of their tour on Oct. 24 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Check out the complete itinerary below.

Another Eternity -- which you can purchase now on iTunes -- landed in stores earlier this year via 4AD. It serves as a follow-up to Purity Ring’s 2012 debut, Shrines.

Since Another Eternity’s arrival, James and Roddick have made a handful of television appearances where they performed cuts from their latest LP. In March, they played “Begin Again” on Late Night With Seth Meyers and then they visited Conan for a performance of “Bodyache.”
