Sasquatch! Expands to Two Weekends, Announces Headliners OutKast, Kraftwerk, the National and More
Like Coachella, Austin City Limits and Tomorrowland, Sasquatch! has turned into a two-weekend festival, and the just-announced lineups include such big-name acts as Outkast, the National, Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden, Frank Ocean and Kraftwerk.
Sasquatch 2014 takes place over two holiday weekends -- Memorial Day (May 23-25) and the Fourth of July (July 4-6) -- at the Gorge in Quincy, Wash. While some fans of summer music festivals have no doubt become weary of events that repeat themselves on back-to-back weekends, Sasquatch has decided to book different artists for each weekend.
Outkast headline Memorial Day weekend and will be joined by the National, Queens of the Stone Age, M.I.A. Foster the People, HAIM, Neko Case, Cut Copy, The Naked and Famous, Portugal. the Man and others.
Kraftwerk will be the main act during Fourth of July weekend, with Neutral Milk Hotel, Soundgarden, New Order, Röyksopp and Robyn, Spoon, Local Natives, Broken Bells, Tegan and Sara, Sharon Van Etten, The Horrors, Kurt Vile, Cloud Nothings, Of Montreal and many others rounding out the bill.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday (Feb. 8). For more information on Sasquatch, visit sasquatchfestival.com.
