Soul Asylum Announce Summer Tour With the English Beat in Support of ‘Change of Fortune’
OG alt-rockers Soul Asylum will spend this summer on the road in support of their new album, Change of Fortune. Neo-ska sultans the English Beat will open on a handful of dates.
The Minneapolis outfit led by Dave Pirner released Change of Fortune (their eleventh album) in March and it follows 2012's Delayed Reaction. It's also their first album without founding guitarist Dan Murphy. Pirner, bassist Winston Roye and drummer Michael Bland enlisted Jusin Sharbono as his replacement.
The album's second single, "Doomsday," hits radio on May 23, so you may be hearing much more of Soul Asylum's newest iteration very soon. Check it out below. And if you don't see your town on the itinerary below, additional dates will be announced soon.
